Seeing an opportunity in the 2018 election to turn the Oregon state legislature blue, this ad hoc committee had a creative idea — to support candidates in four targeted races by running political cartoons in select small-city newspapers. Results: two of our candidates won, and in addition to a Democratic governor, both Houses now have Democratic majorities.
